"RUTH
and NAOMI in the Fields of Bethlehem"
is the third epic musical
production, written by the Bible Arts team of Arlene
Chertoff, Toby Klein Greenwald and Sharon Katz.
Based faithfully on the Scroll of Ruth, the production
tells the story of the trials, tragedy and renewal
of two heroic women.The
music and arrangements for "RUTH" were
written by Mitch Clyman.
THE
STORY
Famine in the land. Greed
and jealousy. Desperation and desertion. Brother
against brother. One leader leaves to save his family.
The other stays to save his people.
Tragedy strikes the once-prosperous
family that has abandoned its people. Two widows
in rags, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, return
home to build a new life. They find love, hope,
and salvation in the restored fields of Bethlehem.
RUTH
The production of
"RUTH and NAOMI" is dramatic, touching,
funny and regal. Its conclusion of a destitute outsider
finding her proper place among her adopted people
is an inspirational tale that will bring pride to
every audience member.
"RUTH AND NAOMI "
